1965
Westbrook College opens its doors with 3 departments, 12 faculty members, and 300 students on a 40-acre campus.
1978
The Centre for Applied Sciences is inaugurated, marking the start of Westbrook's research mission and securing federal funding.
1992
First student exchange agreements signed with universities in UK, Germany, and Japan, establishing Westbrook's global presence.
2003
A major campus expansion adds the Schools of Medicine, Law, and Business along with residential halls for 4,000 students.
2015
Westbrook receives its first NAAC A+ rating and enters the QS World University Rankings for the first time at position 480.
2026
A $15M state-of-the-art AI and Robotics Research Centre is inaugurated, positioning Westbrook at the forefront of emerging tech.
